Regardless of your chosen style, I truly believe that if you call yourself a belly dancer, you need to explore the music and dance that makes the foundation of your fusion. I LOVE Middle Eastern music and can’t get enough of it – and it pains me to see so much of it left untouched by the fusion society of dancers. One of my personal goals is to share my music research with the rest of the American belly dance scene, so here ya go:
